Authorised Economic Operator status - what it means

New York City View

AEO Webinar on Wednesday 14 March 14:00-15:00

AEO – or Authorised Economic Operator status – is a World Customs Organization initiative that very few UK businesses know much about at the moment, but this is likely to change in the near future.

Companies that have AEO status have a significant advantage in international trade as it is an internationally recognised mark of quality that signifies that the company’s role within an international supply chain is secure and compliant.

By secure here we mean that the company has been proven to be efficient and compliant with customs controls and procedures.

In this short webinar Vartan Consultancy will give an overview of how it works and how companies can go about getting it.

Open to Export webinars are powered by the Institute of Export & International Trade – the UK’s only professional body representing international trade.
