Hotels.com engaged Ipsos, a world leader in market research, to conduct interviews during May 2017 with 3,000 Chinese residents, aged 18–54 years, who had travelled overseas in the past 12 months.

In the comprehensive report Hotels.com, having a website and tourism guides translated to Chinese were among the most prominent 'need for improvement' areas.

Luckily, it is one of the easier and more cost effective issues to resolve on the list. As the report also focuses on the different requirements of post 60s and millennials alike, this is one improvement a hotel could make which works for both age groups.

Talking Heads works with the tourism sector to provide translations of all types into all languages. Read more here: talkingheads.co.uk/tourism or contact Laurianne on 0114 470 1075 or le@talkingheads.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
